Penn State is hosting its first ever Immersive Reality Symposium on Oct. 31 to showcase the broad spectrum of virtual, augmented and mixed reality research that is underway throughout the University.
The symposium will bring together members of industry, government and the greater Penn State community that are interested in exploring the unique opportunities within some of today’s most immersive technologies.
The keynote speaker for the event is Joaquim Jorge, an Association for Computing Machinery Distinguished Speaker and professor of computer graphics and multimedia at the Universidade de Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal.
