Palisades School District in Kintnersville, PA has had recognized  success in establishing a K-12 blended and online learning program focused on meeting the needs for all learners. The program focuses on personalization, freeing up time and space for learners, and building digital capacity for the entire learning community. During this COIL conversation, Rich Kiker, Director of Online Learning for Palisades School District, addresses the successes and challenges of having a K-12 blended program, how blended learning is helping students succeed, and looks at all the innovative components at Palisades like cyber centers, STEM program, robotics, and more.

Rich Kiker is the Director of Online Learning for Palisades School District in Pennsylvania where he was recognized as the Outstanding Contributor to Blended and Online Learning with blendedschools.net and also a top rated Google Apps for EDU Trainer in the Google Apps Marketplace. Rich has been recognized by the Google Enterprise team as a Social Influencer and has specialized in online and blended learning since 2006. He has authored several MOOCs at Google including Google Drive for Educators and Chromebooks and Chrome for Educators and has supported the Google education teams with professional development for educators worldwide.
